Water Heaters

Don't Shiver in the Shower

AAre you tired of not having enough hot water to last through your shower, or an unreliable water heater that cuts out unexpectedly?

Factors like hard water and infrequent flushing shorten the life of water heaters. Flushing and anode rod checks are recommended to be done annually.

Card Plumbing is an expert at repairing or replacing water heaters.

Our Experts Know the Signs of Heater Damage

We'll inspect every part of your existing water heater to determine if it needs to be replaced. We'll check for:

  • Poor ventilation
  • Broken seals
  • A damaged thermocouple
  • A potential gas leak

We can replace broken parts, but if the water heater is unsalvageable, we can also install a new one. If your existing heater is more than eight years old, it often makes the most sense to replace it with a new water heater. Sometimes we can even help people over the phone before visiting your home.

Want Better Water Quality?

Do you dislike the taste of water from your tap? Unfortunately, much of the water supply in our service area not only has a bad taste, it is also unhealthy. Based on EPA violations, California ranks as one of the 3 worst for tap water quality. Common pollutants include lead, arsenic, uranium, PFAs, and chromium-6.

Much of our tap water also has a high mineral content, making it what we call “hard water,” which can cause dry or irritated skin, dull or limp hair, and acne or inflamed skin. It also contributes to corrosion in pipes and causes white crusty buildup on faucets.
